| Hi all,
I just bought this scorpion from HK petstore.
Apparently one of it is a Tri Color borrowing scorpion but the other gold was labeled as Yellow Fat Tail but i'm very sure it's not.
Can i have the scientific name for both?
I'm not sure how to upload pics but anybody able to leave me your email and i will attached the photos in it.
Thanks, Alex

| make an account real quick on photobucket.com, upload the pictures, copy paste the image onto a reply. Not sure anyone would want to give out their email just to do an i.d. Edit* tri color labelling is usually a Ophistothalmus walberghi in my experience yellow fat tail is Androctonus australis but i doubt they would be selling those at a pet store | |

| Hi,
You are right on the tri color and scientific name.
They just label their scorpions in chinese common name.
The Androctonous Australis has distinct black coloration on the tail last segment but i still bought it since the price seems reasonable.
Upon finding and manage to identify it as hottentotta trilineatus. Well it's just my assumption on it. I may need to let all the pros in this forum to view it.
I will try to uploat via photobucket and link it here. | |
