| hey room new here names richard 25 male united kingdom south wales interested in getting a emperor scopion it is around the age of 6-8 months just wanted to no how much a day or week should the scorpion be eating i have everything ready for it but just wanted to make sure i feed correctly not to much or to little | |

Two to three crickets a week is about perfect.
They will sometimes fast for several weeks for no reason as well, so don't panic if yours doesn't eat the food items - just try every few days or so if this is the case. | |

| they can manage up to a year without food, but this is not normal or healthy for them. going for a month without food however is normal and usually means a molt but not always. post a picture of the pectines (feathery bits underneath it) and we will be able to give you a positive ID. welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay. | |

| thats a male, no doubt about it. huge pectines and an oval operculum. looks to be adult though might not be, depends on the lighting in the photo. | |

| im not sure with its sting out in relaxed mode it is only about 4 and half inch not very big compared to what i have read about them and the size they go to usualy | |

| That scorp is a sub-adult - I would guess at 5i considering its a male. That means its unlikely to be 6-8 months old, i would say over a year old.
