Scorpion Selection Suggestions

Looking for another type of scorpion other then P. Imperator i have three only active at night and wondering if there are any other type of scorpion maybe more active dont know many species and looking for suggestions other then dessert hairy or really any desert species maybe something with a little color
also i like the flat rock and can read about them but some one with personal exp is always better thx

Well flat rocks are quite simple.... Persionally, it is probably my favorite scorpion... I only have 3 but thats what i love the most. His tail is just so cool. If you want to get something thats a bit funner than emperors, get something thats smaller so you can watch it sting its victims... Whole lot more entertaining than the emperors. b. Jacksoni's are very colorful so theres some ideas for colors. Just look around. Try going to the carsheets on this website, and just googleing the names of some of the scientific names. gives you ideas there.

I was in the same boat as you, i had just a p. Imperator and was looking for a second species of scorpion to get. I ended up getting a desert hairy, its a really good second scorpion imo because it might be too fast for a first time keeper but as a second scorpion its fun to take care of and much more fun to watch than an emp! mine just sits in his burrow all day lol
