| i have seen that quite a bit in the WC animals of this genus. not sure what causes it but an importer told me that it may come from unpacking. the animals are shipped in vials that they are squeezed in and they have to pull them out. not sure how true this is. | |

| Yeah, it's usually from packaging or shipment. | |

| in fact a molt would probably fix the problem, but its an adult. it shouldn't affect it too much just watch out for sharp things it could damage its self on. | |

| Personally, I don't think she does because her tergites aren't stretched out and she doesn't appear to be that big in the pics. However you may want another opinion other than my own | |

guys does she look gravid? thanks a lot I've had this problem with my asian forest, but not on that level. Well, the owner may be right. It will look like it'll be gone if your scorpion fasts, but when it eats again or stretches itself doing something you'll see it again.

| yea h. laoticus, it looks like its gonna stay that way... anyway my emp is acting normally.
I've just seen another one from another buyer, from the same supplier, with the same defect. And yes now I think its because of the way it was packed.
Thank you guys...I'm a little less worried now.
