If its gets babies, do i have to seperate them?
And might the two adult emps attack/kill each other? whats the likelyhood of thi....

| you don't have to seperate the babies from the mother, she will look after them for a bit, but in nature they would disperse once they are a bit older.. you can keep the babies together though. and the two adults might fight a little at first, but they should simmer down.. | |

| just to add, might be best to separate the hopefully female once she drops so the others don't scoff the babies. personally i'd keep the babies individually til adult once they start separating. just from what i've read and heard they may pick each other off as they moult. better safe than sorry...
adults may attack each other too of course but i think it is alot more rare...i've never had issues with adults cannibalising, personally.

| I've only had two juveniles get cannibalized by tankmates. | |

| my emps and hets all protected each other when moulting. My emps have all died bar one (not though being eaten) and all my hets are doing great together still. | |

| Yep, same with me. My emps protect each other and stand guard when others are molting.
