i finally got a scorpion well 2 i picked up a asian forest and a imperial and i was windering if someone could tell me there latin names also iv seen some pics on here with tanks that look like they have some kind of fake bottom with stones and water in it what is that all about

The genus is Heterometrus, and there's a few species available in the trade.
The tanks are called "false bottom" and it's to provide a reservoir of water beneath the soil that keeps the substrate and air humid.

I used this plastic material to cover lights in drop ceilings along with PVC pipe (couplings) to create a lighter false bottom (link).
They also have this stuff in stores that look like stones but are extremely lightweight. I'm not sure what they're called.
