feeding the scorpions last night and the Iurus dufoureius asiaticus 'Rhodes Island form' Has given birth

I spotted 3 very fat round babies. I'm not expecting a very large brood because this species are sexually active before their last instar and the female looks small. However if she has only had 3 I'm still pleased to bits.

whe i looked in last night there were three.

24 hours later there was 4. if there are any more i will be shocked but i think thats my lot.

im still overwhelmed by this one XD

With such huge babies and an accessible burrow, I caught a picture I have been waiting 11 years to capture.

I have never witnessed the moult from scorpling to 2i. Today I saw it. Usually mum is buried in a burrow and I never get chance to see it

2 of the 4 babies have moulted and a third is nearly out
