| This scorpion brought to you courtesy of a trade with Thumpersalley: Didn't want to disturb her, so the picture was taken through the side of the container. I could count around 20 looking in from the top. | |

| #1 that I have is doing great #2 is doing great, got her seperated into another enclosure #3 did get eaten. I found 2 babies wandering around so I scooped them up & put them in with #2, she took them & placed them on her back. I really didnt know what to do. I did read every post on this forum & 2 others but it wasnt discussed alot but I did know they would die without a mom. Everyone is doing great so far. Im going to take #4-6 out & put them in seperate enclosures before they birth. Kim | |

| That's awesome that she took them onto her back! I think I read about that in some research paper somewhere, but it was a while ago. By the way, I have another male on the way from my contact in Arizona if you're still interested in a male-for-female trade. | |

| Right on schedule -- molting to second instar a week after birth. Photo courtesy of Lori (clicky for big version ). The one hanging on the "shoulder" of her left pedipalp was trying to wriggle free of its metasomal exuvium when Lori was taking the picture. The "humpbacked" one on the top left was just starting to molt. Most of the others had already finished. | |
