Ok, decided to start a culture of bean weevils, purchased a cricket tub full of them and a small tub with freshly hatched ones coming from the beans.
Next got a large sweet jar to put them in filled the bottom with black-eyed beans, opened the cricket tub to 'shake' these 'non-fliers in, and they all started to make a mad scramble to the top of the cricket tub, open thier wings, and take off!
In a mad panic i tried to shove the cricket tub into the sweety jar but of course.... it couldn't fit.
So now i have bean weevils all over my room.
Sucks.... and i heard they are an easy livefood option
