| definitely gravid, you can tell from the black nerve cord running down the center of the back and the gaps of the tergites. | |

Dude that not the nerve cord.. thats the heart.. and just because you can see the heart and its big and stuff doesnt mean its prego.. | |

| I'd still say gravid, based on how it looks compared to my H. longimanus before she popped. And all of us used to call it the nerve cord, until we read The Biology of Scorpions. | |

| Thanks everybody for the answers, i sure hope she's pregnant, she has killed and eaten her tank mate, an sub adult female about two months ago, and she is very agressive. | |

| Well agression and being very plump is behaviour of a gravid female. We cant give you a 100% answer on this as sometimes they DO just turn on a tank mate. But signs are pointing to being gravid. Also cant give you a time line to when she will pop because sometimes that can be longer then you expect or sooner then you expect. | |

| I understand this, thank you! I just needed a more trained eye to see it, because i am a bit noob in this hobby. Anyway, i'm keeping her at about 33C at day, and 27 at night, feeding whenever she put on the hungry pose, so i'm hoping that she will reward me with lots of young ones! | |

| make sure that when they are born, you don't disturb her for 2 weeks. At all. unless the tank [i]needs[/i] moisture | |
