| this is the second time this female has been gravid. the first batch she ate. now she's gravid again. she's almost 5 years old and this will probably be her last attempt at producing a brood. i've had her since 2i. as you can see on her two right legs (and possibly little spots on carapace), she's developed mycosis over the years. luckily it hasn't affected her movement or left any "dead" legs. i wish i would have realized how much water i was giving her back then could anyone guess how far along she might be from birthing? | |

| Heyyyyy, That's a familiar and welcome sight Looking good!! Well... I see a very healthy looking scorpion, and I don't really see the mycosis, if you mean the discoloration on the right hind leg... It doesn't have to be mycosis. I really don't see spots anywhere, but I might be looking with my nose as we say here;) Where exactly do you see them? Sadly I can't answer the question about how far along she is. I am actually wondering that myself for my girl. I reckon both of our girls are very far along, they look like blimps already so I really don't know.. - Quote :
- Based on the present study and references herein, it is possible to consider that Leiurus quinquestriatus gestation periods commonly range from 150 to 227 days.
That would, give or take, come down to 5 - 7,5 months of gestation. Source: Here ROSS, LK. | Only the top right and bottom right look to me as possible mycosis spots, but I don't know for sure. However, I think I can say that even if it is, the mycosis is not far. How does her underside look? | |

| her underside looks fine. doesn't appear to have any spots on her book lungs. the other day she ate two adult crickets and got really fat (tergites seperated). she's pretty active and seems content in her new home. i keep her around 85F-90F during the day and about 82F at night. sometimes that changes when its hotter/colder out. i swear she's been gravid over a year now... which makes me think that the babies might not make it . any thoughts on that would be great. | |

| maybe. i'm not exactly sure. my memory isn't the greatest... i've had her a little over 5 years, so i'm almost positive she's not in pre molt. | |
