We have just witnessed our male amblipygid (Daemon varigatus) doing one of the best mating dances I have ever seen!!
It's like a bouncy jig, followed by a funky chicken impression, followed by the female getting boxed in the head! Then an occasional handshake between them.
I have seriously been in stitches! Video to follow

I think the female is too small. she looked interested at one point but then decided she didn't want her leg over after all!
