Recent mother emp not eating.

One of my female emps gave birth recently, long story short all the babies died, its been a week sicne the babies left her back and shes been on her own since then but shes not eaten at all youde think aftr not eating for aaaggeeesss shed be ravenous but she just runs away from her food without evne tryin to kill it for later. I reckon she might be gettin pretty old cause her brood was tiny n most of them died pretty quickly and im usre i read somewhre that as they get into their old age their broods get smaller.

My P.cav hasn't eaten in three months and I've had my emp for a month and she hasn't eaten yet I wouldn't worry too much. Do you know when the last time she ate was.

yeah i thoguht she was old but ill keep tryin but i would imagine theyde be starvin after ot eatin properly for ages

Nope she won't starv. They will eat on instinct. Put a cricket in every few days leave it in for 24 hours if it is not eaten take it out and keep doin that. ...It'll eat one day lol I would not worry though

klkl its just ill need to reintroduce her tank mates in the next few days and i want her scranned up so she doesnt go ape and eat one of her cage mates.

nearly a month ago but shes not eaten for a few months before that she refused food

Moms' appetites are naturally suppressed around the time they have babies. Maybe she just hasn't gotten it back yet.

As stated ad nauseum and in my signature, don't panic if your emp fasts.
