In my experience gestation time is 5 months from purchase. lol

How long does it take for this species to go go through all the various instars to adulthood..? Quite a while I would imagine. When I go to a show & see captive bred Scorpions & Tarantula's etc... I am always full of admiration, knowing the time and care involved in raising the youngsters..am I correct?

I personally have only bought adults. So I dont know the actual duration to maturity. However from what I have been told from our good friend Mr. Goss, they grow pretty rapidly. birth to 2i is approx. 7 days. And mine are about to pop to 3i in less than a month from birth.

Growth rate is also dependant on the scorplings being kept in a community until some show signs of cannibalism / territorial. Raised singularly their growth rate is slowed.

However as mine and Leons threads are updated we can get give more accurate (hands on) information
