Het. Madraspatensis breeding info

Tried my two together again tonight (1st time the female pretty much wanted to kill the male)

Anyhow the male outstretched his peds sideways (looked like he had splatted into a wall!) tried grabbing her, flicked her legs and body... then tagged her through the side membrane and before i could separate them he got her again in the 'elbow'. She was fighting back so I think it's safe to assume she's not in a jiggy mood!

So she is rather stoned at the moment but otherwise ok These dont come up that often so I dont want to lose them to a bad mating disaster!

Anyway I am now searching the net for breeding info but if anyone finds anything can you please direct me with a link

Are the conditions you keep them the same as emporers?

I would suggest just sepperatting them for a while and attempt to breed in at least 2 weeks.

Lisa, that was a sexual sting to calm the female down. If she was stoned after you separated them, it probably was working! You should let him try it again.

aaaah right ok.... will have another go again tonight. they have made proper burrows that they are happy with now and I hardly see them.

Will let you know how it gets on They are both well fed, especially the male so he should impress the girly
