Think my Smeringus mesaensis is gravid

She hardly eats and is growing fat! I think she's full size so i doubt its a moult.

Any sign of embryos through the membrane? This species is small enough that I suspect they'd be visible as she gets close.

I hope she's gravid for ya man! I'd love to get my hands on a few of these in the future, they loom awesome.

I can see something but i'm not sure if its embryos.

if you bought it from martingoss at newark then it is subadult. all of his were...aparently. mine is getting quite chubby now so should moult. he bred them himself and kept them individually as far as i know for their whole lives.
be interesting if it does have a brood.

My male is MUCH smaller and slimmer

I might see embryos in the last pic . . . barely. It doesn't look very promising in terms of babies.

So what is your thinking now you've seen it?

it looks like my OCF at the moment and that is in premolt, exactly the same shape.
I'll try and get a picture up when the batteries from my camera have charged!
