Possibly premolt, but I can't see new tergites through the membrane . . . but definitely not pregnant.

If it's premolt, stop handling it. That will just stress it and possibly make surviving the molt more difficult.

can you tell if its adult or subadult?

looks like it need one more molt to go or the color of the telson is a little off.

That what it looks like. But it also needs one more molt to maturity so it'll loose its "baby fat" on the next molt.

That's a scorpion that's very well fed AND in premoult lol.

well it hasnt eaten in two weeks and even then she had half of it in her mouth and then just dropped it lol.

That's still a HUGE scorpion.

nah man crickets and she was purchased that way

she should moult very soon anyway... mabye she was overfed from hwere you got her.

what is it when they have a cricket in their mouth but they wont eat it...kinda like they just carry it around all day?

so do hiding places alone suffice or should i be worried if my scorps dont burrow? i mean i have two sub adults in a ten gallon and there are four hiding spots but no signs of burrowing. Again i keep temps at about 88 degrees on the hotside and 78 on the cool with roughly 80 percent humidity. My cocofiber substrate is about six inches deep

well she is better now...she hides now and you dont see her often...i guess it was just weird behavior that she just came out and hung out under the infrared heating lamp
