| it has a body length of 1.5 inches (excluding telson and palps) i dont know whethr this is what you need sorry about quality | |

| colouration of the last 2 tail segments hun, sorry should have been less technical if it is a boehmi its body length should be 5cm from the front of the carapace (head) to the tip of the telson (stinger) And the tail in general looks puny in comparison to its larger cousins. but if you can get a picture sideways on of the last 2 tail segments i should be able to tell from that. clarity isn't too essential i am looking for the colouration | |

| hmmm. the boehmi does seem to have several colour forms, ranging fom very dark to brightly banded. there are only 2 species of opistophthalmus in tanzania, the boehmi and the glabifrons. the glabifrons are bigger growing to about 11.5cm it does look like mine but lighter. if you can clarify where it came from, if WC the seller should be able to provide this info, that would help as well to eliminate other species. here's link to my pictures. clickerty | |

| well that has solved the ID problem then i have 2 females and a male. the male is slightly smaller than the female and no obvious sexual dimorphic features. i will try and get pectinal shots tomorrow to compare with yours. | |
