| ok, so I have rocks set up like a cave in my emps enclosure as a hide. It is her favorite hide and shes constantly borrowing under it. The problem is she keeps knocking them over! Not only is it a pain to keep fixing them, I'm worried they'll fall on her and injure her. I read on another site that silicone or epoxy can be used to hold the rocks together. My question is, is it safe to use silicone or epoxy in her enclosure? is there any health risks to her in doing do? and is there anything else I can use to hold them together? | |

| i reckon you could do it with aquarium sealant as that shouldnt give off any toxins or fumes because it is for fish.. | |

| I suppose you could use aquarium sealant, or something non-toxic. | |

| Well you can do down to your local hardware store and talk with them, they proably know what to use in water tanks and stuff, if you buy aquarium sealent its going to be expensive, sometimes really expensive, but have a talk with them down there, make sure its not something that mold free and stuff like that, like the ones for bathrooms or kitchens. They have toxins in em. I use silicone on my stuff works like a charm.. | |

| Lori and I have used silicone aquarium sealant in terrariums and it worked fine, it should work for gluing rocks together. Just make sure that you glue them together and let them dry completely while they're OUTSIDE of the tank, so any fumes during the curing process don't harm your scorp. | |
