| Just lucky the king baboon didn't do any damage to the cat (which kind of suprises me)! Kitties can be so naughty. I'm really sorry to hear about you king baboon, they are wonderful Ts. | |

| That's the reason I didn't want a cat in the first place until we could get a separate invert room.
No casualties yet, but Lori about murdered Eri when she found a leg and nothing else of her A. metallica (it showed up the next day hiding behind the blinds).

| ^wrong place and time, dude. Besides, most dogs I know would destroy three or four tanks by their tail alone. | |

| it was only a small juvi. Wasnt an adult and wasnt big at all. Was more the size of a large house spider. Poor thing
Yet thats the thing mike. we have just made the invert room so it would be safer for them *rolls eyes* typical!

| Sorry for the loss.. My cants were trained from day one, they dont go into the bug room unless im in there and when they do they only get to sit on the floor or my lap. Or if I had a door to that room and I didnt trust my cats I would do the senseble thing and close the door. Hees a pic of my kitty helping me get some scorps ready for a shipment. | |

| the mystery has been solved. Mum wanted to see the kittens so after work we came back to my house and I went to show her the invert room. Only to find my Iomachus Politus tank on the floor!!!!!!! I searched though the soil and couldnt find parts so KNEW she was still alive.
Searched and search and found her still alive but very shaken up!
BUT! I dont think the cat that ate the taratula was KIKI! I think its the kittens! Since being in the house, the iomachus politus has been in the same spot and untouched. I think its been the kittens all along!!!
She is now in a higher spot and will be put into a glass tank this weekend so make sure she is super safe!
I presume she was in her normal spot on her cork bark hide against the wall, when the tank fell and the contents came out she stayed in her spot and didnt move...which is why the kittens must have walked away and she then ran free to try to hide somewhere else!

| yeah I hate those curtain style doors aswell lol they can be moved from the bottom far too easily, it might be worth replacing witha wooden sliding door | |

| could you attach those hook and eye type looks to the top and bottom of the door? that would keep the kitties out unless they can figure out how to unlock them. | |
