| that's a rather tasty lividum, and you can't go wrong with Grammostola! also, B albopilosum is probably my favourite from the genus... | |

How hard are the pokies to take care of? Hi..Thanks!! I have experience with P. fasciata, regalis, formosa and striata. They are fast and skittish...They are speed demons They usually run for cover after having raised legs n showing off fangs. Striata is the only Poecilotheria I have owned, whom would take a seriously go for the fingers, pincets etc. if disturbed at all.........! But in the end,if u have some experience with arboreals ,then I would say Poecilotheria sp. are a very interesting genus. They also have some very beautiful and distinctive carapace patterns used as identification tool. Not to mention their ventral coloration on forlegs! | |
