and the T is still really mega angry, when I tried to refill the water bowl last night she bouted out and... man it was like a OBT or something. I'm tempted to offer her food, she is really really skinny.

Offer prey; if she ignores it, offer a "replacement" sac (put a cottonball inside the old one). Sometimes that helps to calm them down.

she's a calmed down a bit now, and appears to be making another burrow.



as for the incubator, should I keep the eggs in the sac, inside the Inc. batorm or spill them out?

All the incubators I've seen, the eggs were free to roll around in whatever they were being held in. I suppose in the hammock version you're using, they would be free to roll around in the sagging paper towel. In the one Lori did, they rolled around in their paper cupcake liners.

most of the eggs look good, 2 or 3 are dried up but oh well, must happen with most sacs. there are definetly no more than 120.

anyway, tarantula has gone insane and is digging another burrow and moving the substrate about. she ate a cricket.



why can't I just get a scorp or T that isn't pregnant?

I'm not sure if it's lucky. I don't have the resources to look after 100+ tarantulas.


another complication is that I ordered 10x terra spider substrate from lee@spidershop and I haven't gotten any replies from him to see if he got the order. it has been payed for.


I will not be a happy bunny if I don't get it.
