| ok so this afternoon i was sat around then i noticed my chillean rose on its back and straight away thought the worse, (as nymph knows lol) then i noticed she was laying on a bed of silk and thought omg shes shedding out in the open, i found this very weird, and was just hoping she was shedding, she looked like this not a great pic as i didnt want to disturb her much and then i had to go out, just got home bout 30 minutes ago to find this laid in the same plase as before im now pretty sure she is shedding haha | |

| very good! next time she does it, just put a cover over her tank so she is in a dark space. She was clearly happy to do it how she did it but I woud feel more secure in such a exposed position xxx | |

| i posted this on another forum just to show first thing said was having a go saying you shouldnt disturn her and vermiculite shouldnt be used and blah blah blah, she doesnt like any other substrates and ovids walking on them altoogether, and i didnt disturb her she decided to molt infron of me i took a pic with no sound or extra light, thats why i hate most forums, people just wanna <complain> lol, oh n connie she was covered i just looked under to check on her, to make sure she was ok. she is now fully out and walked off i have taken the shed and posed it in a normal standing pose, i wanted to stuff her abdomen with cotton wool which was working well until i realised the top half of the abdomen was too soft to stretch lol

| dont say sorry lol i wasnt having a go just letting you know, i keep her in a dark room so she gets 12 hours daylight a day to make sure she keeps her cycle, once i noticed she was shedding she was covered and the lights dimmed right down to make sure she was nice and covered lol | |

| well i got her shed, and was wondering how to pose them properly, i decided just to pose it in a regular standing postion but is there anyway to preserve the pose? hairspray>?< lol does it look like its just standing around or is it obvious its a shed lol | |

| Looks like it's just standing around. Pretty sweet. They'll dry like that, but they're kind of delicate, so hairspray (or some sort of artist's drawing sealant) may be a good idea. | |

| Pin it or glue the feet in a shadow box and it should last a very long time.
the only reason people comment on the vermiculite, is if you get it wet it will hold to much moisture and cause harm to your T. but everybody has there own way of doing things | |
