| My wolf spider just made an eggsac. She's carrying it around on her abdomen. I'm not to sure what to do. I plan on moving her to another container so that when they hatch I don't need to worry about her eating them. I need suggestions.
Update: Its been quite a while now and um, my wolf spider ate her own eggsac. Is there a reason for her to do this?

| When they hatch, she'll carry them on her back much like a scorpion would. My only advice I can give is to offer the young TINY prey when they come off of mom's back. I had a wolfsac once and lost the lot of them because I didn't have food small enough for them. | |

Update: Its been quite a while now and um, my wolf spider ate her own eggsac. Is there a reason for her to do this? the only times i have seen a wolfie eat her own egg sacs is when they are disturbetd to much or is not fed often enough and also when they have realy no where to hide and they are not liking there habbitat that may be the reason(S) why she did that it happens some times | |
