Okay I have a C sculpturatus with 4 babies on it's back. Not the one I'm waiting to pop, I picked this one up at a show. One of the babies died before the molt. They never come off the mother's back, I'm wondering if I should drop a dead cricket in or something yet. They've all molted once as far as I can tell.

You can pop a live cricket in. She should kill it for the babies. If they are off her back. You could pop in a head crushed cricket so there is no risk to them but if they are in with mum, I trust mum to protect them, kill it and allow them to feed from it xxx

Well centruroroides as I know don't have much of a mother young bond as other species like the emperors and heterometrus. Some young don't eat pre-killed crickets. I would get fruitflies and not feed anyone while they're on the mother's back.

My advice is to leave them alone. If you are worried about the mother munching, which they usually only do if something is wrong with the babies. I sometimes throw a prekilled cricket in there and the mother eats it. After the babies leave the mom then seperate them and throw some pinheads or fruitflies in there for the babies. After a few days throw a live cricket in with the mama and she will likely demolish it.
