Molt soon? Empty
PostSubject: Molt soon?   Molt soon? Empty8/6/2008, 4:40 pm

Me again. I think my little scorp will be molting soon so I could do with some advise Rolling Eyes
It hasn't eaten anything for 1-2 weeks and is still quite a fatty also it's fairly active at night so I think it's healthy and all so that's good.
Now, to help it along I've moistured one of the hides (half coconut shell) and taken out any crickets that were in the tank.
Is there anything else I should do?

Here's a pic of the fat pig:
Molt soon? Foton-10

I know it shouldn't be on only sand but this is a temporary tank while I'm at my parents house. It will be in there for another week or so, so I think it should be OK. (Probably won't molt until then anyway)

all it really is, is a waiting game. And if a moult is coming up or not, scorpions can still fast.
It sounds to me like you have done the right thing *although I havent kept this scorpion so not 100% sure*...so its just a waiting game
