Hey guys.

What's the longest time you had a scorpion molting? My 3i H. tamulus has been molting now for over 24h. It seemed to be still trying to get out this morning, but I think there's no progress since last night. I'm afraid the worse might happen with this one.

Most of it was out, there was a bit of old exo over the last segment of the mesosoma. All legs were out but they were still positioned to front. I tried to give him a hand, and was able to move the old exo enough to uncover the mesosoma fully, but the tail is still in the exo.
I also upped the humidity a bit and moistened the exo over the tail with 2 drops of water, hoping it'll help him to get out.

If he's not out when I get back home in the evening, I will try to remove it, hoping he will be a able to recover.

Thanks buddy. Will definitely try and hope for the best.
All limbs seemed to be just fine, so I guess that's a plus Smile

Think you did just about all you can do. With troubled molts you just moisten the area some , up the humidity and try to get it off. Best of luck !

You should try a glycerin and water solution. Very carefully moisten the areas that are stuck, then try to very carefully take the old exoskeleton off. I hope it turns out okay. Good luck!

Well, it has passed away during the day. Sucks, but nothing I could had done about it during the day. I was supposed to try and give it a help already last night.

Bad molt? 09112011%252520011
Bad molt? 09112011%252520010

Now all I can hope for is that the remaining two are 1.1.
