Bad Molt? Empty
PostSubject: Bad Molt?   Bad Molt? Empty2/2/2012, 3:40 am

So I got an A. Versicolor sling which is about .5 inches in the mail yesterday. Got it in the enclosure and it looks all scrunched up with legs all crazy. It is walking around and even climbing, but I really think it has a molt stuck to it's back!!! I didn't injure it in the opening and transfer, but it didn't look right. Can T's survive with a molt attached like that? I've misted it's little enclosure and even got the exo-looking bit wet with an eye dropper. Temps at 82F and good cross ventilation...any other suggestions? I'm not experienced with slings. I've had it for 24+ hours now. It seems to be moving and climbing more...just looks deformed.

Any way to get a pic up?
I've had a B/ albopilosum once with a molt stuck to it. Increased the humidity and within 12h it got free.
