I didn't know it was going to slough it was active and still trying to catch crix yesterday!

| Do you plan to get another one? If so, now you know an important lesson. "Don't leave crickets in with stuff" I do hope you get another one. They're awesome little things | |

| I'm really sorry to hear that. My advice is to switch over to feeding roaches. I've never heard of anyone having problems with them and molting inverts. | |

| yeah you defo learn from experience. If not roaches then locusts or something a lot easier to get out if it doesn't get scoffed.
Got a shipment coming over later this year to sell on but still going to try and get hold of some beforehand!!!!

| If it makes you feel better I lost about 2/5 of my collection to ants. I finnaly just started feeding them dead scorpions and roaches to keep them away from my live stuff since i cant get rid of them. They attack fast. This weekend at the bbq three differet people had ants starting to pile up on their bugs. I guess with high summer metabolism and shortage of food they are going after live animals | |

| i advise you hang and crucify most of the crix and bury 4 alive and keep one on its own until it dies of starvation.....then shoot them.... i hate crickets please please please get roaches!!!

| oh im going to leave them in the tank to starve to the point of canibalism then the last one can just chuffin starve...
Although on the plus side (if there is one!!!) the slough technically was a success it was 98% out and left a perfect exo-skeleton. so a bit of glue to the carapace and i can mount it as a display piece.

| sorry to hear Lisa i had two Amblypigids together (sold as D variegatus)...one moulted fine, the other i found the whole skin (successful moult at least)...and a shapeless pale ruined mass at the bottom:( the only thing that could've happened was the other attacking it post moult talk about gutting...supposedly communal. they aren't cheap to replace either... | |
