I was curious.

Crocodiles will deliver males or females depending on the incubation temperature. I know they are egg layers but croc's like scorpions are primitive animals that date back far so was wondering if the same rules applied.

My P.trans are busy moulting from 4i to 5i and of the 10 so far all have small pedipalps. It was my understanding that at 5i the change was readily visible.

Cheers

No. Parabuthus can be sexed as early as 2i, but typically keepers will do it at 3i as the exoskeletons alsoshow the enlarged middle basal lamella (exoskeletons as its easier to manipulate and check with the naked eye (or a microscope)). This becomes more visible, obviously, as they grow.
