| Can't seem to find any paper or keeper post regarding lifespan especially of C.nigrescens .. I wanted to get a pair but i get ticked off when i read most Centruroides have an average of 18 months to 2 years + .. Not a fan of short-lived scorps. Can anyone lead me on or show me theirs that got off the 3 year mark? Thanks!  | |

| They certainly can live longer than that. I'd estimate around 5 years on average for both species.
Could be more, the lifespan of many scorpions hasn't been documented and is usually underestimated in my experience. | |
