It looks like a plastic strip to me. Probably came off with the coco fiber. I seldom get that sometimes but it maybe something else though. Hopefully someone here may have seen something similar

| I agree with Tongue Flicker. Looks like a piece of plastic or paper from the coco-fiber.
Also, that substrate looks WAY too dry in those pictures. I suggest pouring water on the substrate. | |
