|Subject: Is my Emperor Scorpion an adult? 2/19/2014, 3:33 pm|| |
Just got her from the pet store yesterday, not sure if shes an adult.
And from what you can see in the pictures. Does she look healthy? Kinda scared but would be exciting if i got her pregnant, not sure if that is a possibility cause she doesn't look that big.

She looks adult to me.
From what I know, you can approximate the age of your emperor by the color of the stinger (telson?). White for juviniles and red for adults. Correct me if I'm wrong

Hard to tell a scorpion's health by just looking at photos unless there is a visible physical condition. Observe its behavior for a while and tell us if you notice something unusual

Definitely an adult. And yes, adults have red telsons.
She looks pretty healthy in those pictures; she's not dragging her tail.
