Scorpions distribution by countries

Hello friends!

Herby we present you distribution list with all currently known scorpion species. After clicking on a map of every continent you will get a list of scorpions which live there - sorted by countries.

The list is based on The Scorpion Files and plenty of scorpions publications. Due to lots of changes in taxonomy which affect also occurrence records, some of above can be out of date.

Nice read.. Bahrain scorpions should be updated though. Hawar islands (a bahraini territory) is a just a stone's throw away from Qatar and with the advent of King Fahd causeway connecting Bahrain to mainland Saudi Arabia, Leiurus quinquestriatus is now commonly found in Bahrain. Both LQ morphs are present.

Thanks for your input, list will be updated. If you have any further advices you're welcome Could you please write some more information about those two LQ morphs, maybe with photo?

Ooh sorry, i meant to say subspecies. We both have Lq.hebraeus & deserti here. Sorry keeping native scorpions here are strictly forbidden or else heads will roll, literally lol.
