OBT's question

hey,

im not sure if this is really a problem but it kind of is....

my two OBT's make thick web bubbles and no crickets get in

so they don't eat

and when they molt, like one just did, and im not sure if I want to even try to get the molt out of there web

because the OBT could run out of the cage, I mean they are really fast, and then when I try to catch it ill get bit.

I wouldn't worry about it. I think they will come out when they need to. I hate to mess with a T's cage but occasionally I feel like a cage needs to be cleaned out, and if so, I'll take the web out and clean the cage.

Maybe this T just needs to molt and will come out after he molts. If you suspect this I would not clean the cage if possible.

A T can feel prey in the web and will come out and eat it if he wants.

Like robert said, i just observe if my girl is out. If she is, i'll throw something in. If not, then don't do anything. Throwing feeders in when they dont feel like it usually ends up as an entangled prey with ruined webbing = fugly looking enclosure lol.. (excuse my term)
