C. gracilis 3rd instar, plus question....

I usually use tongs

but I started just picking them up by end of tail

someone when I picked on 3rd instar up to move it into the communal tank

it stung me, it got me good, the tip of my left hand index finger

for the first 20 seconds the pain got worse and worse

and the pain only lasted about 3 minutes

then it went numb for a few hours

my question is.... just because I wasn't allergic this time, could I be allergic next time ??

That's not an easy one. We are all different. You may, or you may never! Just be careful.
