| Hey i just noticed today that my smallest scorp just so happens to be the fattest one of all my scorps. does this mean im over feeding them? cause i feed em once a week and i feed them crickets. Or do you think perhaps it might be a molt coming up. | |

| How much do you feed them each week. Emps are known for getting fat. But if he is a low instar then it is likely that a molt is coming up soon. | |

| I always feed mine once a week, sometimes they want it and other times they dont. I normally wait for the "feed me pose" which can mean a feed before my "sunday feed" day, so sometimes it could be on a friday or a saturday. I find though after a feed on a sunday and they eat it...they do slim down again. if without food your scorpions arent slimming down then I would either say "wow power feed" or a moult is coming up xxxx | |

| If he keeps refusing to eat like normal than it's most likely in premolt | |

| if refusing to eat could very likely be in pre moult and within the next few days it "should" happen. OR your scorpion could just be super full! But im gonna for now say a moult is on the way | |

| Mine come outside when to moult. I normally find the moults in the middle of the tank. even found one yesterday! so at least two are now 4I try not to worry too much. just keep the heat and humidity and everything will be fine xxx | |

| Eddy's 2 cents: "overfeeding" a juv scorp is not bad. A molt would take care of that no problem. | |

| Keep in mind that premolt scorps can look like little blimps with a stinger and pinchers sticking out. Also, emps are to scorpion-keeping what rosies are to T-keeping -- they're the "class clowns" and just seem to act weird to confuse the humans. | |

| Lol yea/ he/she hasnt molted yet tho. i fed em today and everyone ate.I also changed the substrate to coco fiber. So the hummidity is gonna be better then the potting soil i had in it. | |

| Good humidity should make molting easier. | |

| It's just the telson (final segment) itself. | |
