is this normal?

I have two emporer scorpions living in a tank together, they have been together for about 8 months and were bought together from the same pet store, same day.. I was away for school for about 4 months and came back.. I have them in my room.. The house I am in isn't very warm so I boguht a heating lamp and a heating pad.. The temp is about 70 at all times..I try and keep it moist as well, the heating lamp tends to dry it out.
Well, today one of them came out and cleared out most of the gel water things that I was told to use and hav ebeen using since they were bought out of the dish and has hunkered down in there.. Is this normal?

Hmm... I think you should use regulare water as emperors like to "take a bath" from time to time... Maybe that's what it's trying?

I agree. Emperors should be provided with fresh, natural water. It sounds like you might have a lack of humidity in your enclosure.

Is it 70 degrees in the enclosure or in your house?

Pet stores will tell you to use gell water in your enclosures but never do this, it shows they know nothing, that gel is for crickets and not for your animals, standing water is the only kind of water you should ever use for your scorps.
