got my baby bicolors

package arrived about an hour ago with 8 scorps. they were all pretty feisty and extremely quick. one was doa, but it was a freebie, so i'm not too worried about it. vixvy was nice enough to include 2

his packing was great. there's no way a scorpion could escape or get tossed around while shipping. he used neat little blue plastic containers that i've never seen before. took me a good 5-10 minutes to open

i'm hoping i get a decent female to male ratio so i'm able to breed them.

Thats how I got my Centruroides gracilis from Eddy when I won them.

it seems like one of them isn't doing too well. it will still zip around when poked around a bit, but it lays there with its tail down. i hope it doesn't die.

its the only one that hasn't eaten yet.

That was the case with two of my Centruroides gracilis. They were offered dead and alive prey, but they just never ate. They died within a week. Sucks to have it happen, but I did everything I could.

if this guy dies, i'm going to order a bunch more. maybe even sell my car (that is just sitting in the backyard) and get a ton of scorpions from it.

UH, accidentally deleted it all. 

Don't worry about it. It happens to lots of people. You don't have to sell your car. That seems pretty extreme.

i have no intentions on driving it anytime soon. it has a blown motor and my license/registration is suspended so why not

i junked my other car to get these bicolor

edit #2: might be 4i i'm not sure. it lost its "pill" shape and its pedipalps are really long now! about the size of its body.

cool. looks good. double caging is always a good idea especially for when you have the lids off. bicolor are extremely quick! i'd say they're quicker than LQs.

i have the zoo-med version of that enclosure that i've been trying to get rid of on craigslist. seems like nobody wants to buy it for $40 (enclosure, exo terra light fixture w/ 25w bulb, combo lock)

Why would you want to get rid of it? Can't you use it for your upcoming brood? I'm gonna turn it into a haddy tank when they are sub-adult/mature, so I can use my 24x18x18 for a H.hottentotta communal setup. The A.bicolor will be kept double boxed in plastics.

i'm getting rid of it because i'm trying to downsize all of my enclosures to save space. also, i have a 4 level cabinet that i keep all of my bugs in and that bulky enclosure doesn't seem to fit anywhere with what i already have in it.

i was using it for my pair of LQs for a couple years.

Mine shipped on monday, getting 4 bicolors and 2 liosoma. I'm gonna be camping on sunday and I won't be back until tuesday though  I hope they don't arrive by then.
