| Well I moved some of my breeders around today and noticed one of the females telson is black on one side of it. It is hard to capture it in a picture. Could it be a fungus or it is normal? | |

| No reason to separate her if her behavior is normal.
Was the telson always like that or did it just happen?
It could just be that the telson simply has a dark spot. | |

| Her behavior is normal as can be. I just havnt seen it before, maybe it was there the whole time. I looked up scorpion deseases and found some species with fungus that looked black, why i was so concerned. | |

| That fungus is called mycosis. It usually happens only to desert dwelling species.Pandinus imperator and other rainforest scorpions almost never get it because they have to be adapted to it. | |
