Males have a long metasoma, females don't. I'm not sure when this becomes evident.

Male:
Centruroides spp. Male

Female:
Centruroides spp. Female

Does anyone have a picture or pectine tooth count on Centruroides Sculpturatus. I just realized I never really had to sex them before. Communal setups work great. I know there is also a pectine angle difference. I thought males were more out to the sides and females are folded back. Thanks

male has thinner body
i have pair at home, and size diff,my female is wider than the male.never tried counting pectine when it comes to bark because most of them will already be visible in the body stucture already.so you can sex them.but it depends also with the spp you want to sex.
goodluck!!!

I had a immature C vittatus that was one molt from adulthood and we couldn't sex it. Don't think it's evident until their mature.
