Age to tell gender of scorpions?

Do scorpions have to be a certain age/instar to be able to tell the gender? ( I have emperor scorpion babies) Born in July if I remember correctly and either in their 2nd or 3rd molt. Sound correct?

With Pandinus sp. you can tell the gender by the shape of the genital operculum (spelled right?). It is the little oval shape where the two pectines are the closest. There are pictures of what it looks like if yoou google it. With other genus it differs.

Yea I'm asking if you can tell their gender no matter the age? Not how to tell the gender, cause I know some animals you cannot tell until tthey are an adult.

With Pandinus sp. you can tell gender from the start. It is hard though because they are so small. Other scorpions you usually can't until a molt or two away from adulthood.

How far away from molting are they? If you're patient you can wait until they molt and check the exuvia under a magnifying glass.

in some species like R.junceus and P.trans, you'll have to wait after 5i to tell whether it's a male or female

i think they are in their 2nd or 3rd molt i really dont remember. but iv been finding molts around the cage for the past few weeks so some are growing faster then others.
