| ive had this h.spinifer for a few month's now an she just kept getting bigger but as she was from a pet shop it was 50/50 if she was gravid or just due a moult but came home today an she is giving birth right now. could only see one through the tub so guessing she has just started, will be leaving her alone so i don't stress her. pic's to follow when she is done but for now here is a pic of her from last week. i may be slightly exited at the moment | |

| Ok so I'm a bit of an expert at counting uncountable white blobs. I'm guessing you have 24 babies there. Best of luck!
I'll trade you 5 of my emps for 5 of your spins? Keep in mind some won't molt and get eaten along the way to 2i. So my count is your final number.

| Got a couple of questions regarding my baby scorpions. They have now all moulted for the first time an all bar a couple have left her back an are either sat in a corner of the burrow or moving about. What ive read says remove them once they leave her back/moult to 2nd instar. Do i remove them now? And a real noob question are they 1st instar when their born or when they have moulted once?

| 1st when they're born, 2nd when they've been through their first moult.
I generally remove babies once they've all hardened up after moulting to 2i and are obviously completely mobile i.e. they're wandering about away from the mother.

| nice one, cheer's callum. they were all off an moving around the RUB so have now put them all into little setup's, all 29 of them. there are a couple that are still very small after the moult but finger's crossed they will still eat/survive will get some pic's of the baby's later | |
