First instar gracilis are quite colorful, even fresh. That's normal man Razz Not all scorpions have white sausages as offspring.

i cut a piece of pillow case cloth and taped it to the screen lid

it fit perfect, so the baby scorps cant escape

and it helps hold in humidity

When mine grow up, if I don't have a pair we could trade some around.

Also, be prepared for some second instars to die. Some just won't eat no matter what you give them dead or alive.

That would be cool. And actually, I've never had a baby gracilis refuse a small cricket, haven't tried roaches yet.

The 2 babies just never ate. It was almost as they didn't recognize they prey as food.It happens in nature though and I sort of saw it as natural selection.

Dude plenty of us could give you some tips on shipping, it's no big deal. I've sent 5 packages so far and only had 1 dead on arrival (out of 40+ scorpions). Like I got one from vixvy, and all were in there for 9 days and not a single one died. I had 10 scorpions come to me without a single death.

My second instars take roaches larger than they are down. They're beastly. I've kept them since 2010 and have no intention of stopping. On 3rd generation captive born!
