| Hey guys, got a gift from Eddy last Wednesday when we were hanging out. My bad for not posting this sooner. And can I just say, I've been wanting to get this species for like 3 months now. It is indeed a 2i Rhopalurus junceus!!!! Eddy, you are awesome! I love it so much! I set up its (it shall be 'it' until sexed properly) enclosure and it took me ALL DAY to set up yesterday. It has its little jar, with some olive tree bark that I hot glued together from my own tree. Some good amount of substrate, and a bit of aquarium sand for some color contrast. I'd still like to add a bit of decor, like more olive tree leaves. But I think it's good for now. I'll post pictures of it later tonight . Let me know what you guys think! Thank you again Eddy Take care now! -Patrick | |

| You know the 3rd date is when even good girls go all the way. Heck eddy I'd go all the way on the first date for a freebie like that.
Edit. Let's not start talking about what I would personally do for free scorpions. It could get honest and above pg13 very quickly. | |

| That's one beautiful scorpion. It's almost as fat as my Babycurus jacksoni. | |

You might want to bake or nuke the bark. I soaked it in water, then boiled for 5 minutes, then baked at 275 for 12 minutes, then microwaved for 30 seconds. The microwave might have been kinda redundant, but I don't like to take chances. EDIT: I'm finishing the enclosure tonight. Just gonna add decor and what not. It's so hard to get good shots through a glass jar.

| Alright guys, hers its enclosure. Got a good thick layer of substrate to hold lots of moisture, some sand, some bark from my olive tree. Everything I used was very clean. I took four pieces of olive bark and hot glued together, covering only the noticeable spots with moss. Making enclosures is so much fun! No matter how big they are! And a little peek down the hole. You can catch a glimpse of the scorpion in the last picture. Hope you guys like it. Enjoy! Patrick | |

| Patrickkkkk congrats my man! I am very happy for you! It looks so awesome:) I have a small tip for you... In such a container humidity can run up pretty fast with condensation and such, perhaps you can make a DIY mesh lid for your enclosure so to get optimal ventilation. Bark can sometimes mold pretty quickly and as it is a bark scorp you wouldn't want that. The method you used for ur enclosure is something I saw YouTube with a tarantula man, very neat way of making hides and decorating them! Here are some links for you that I thought might help you or might be fun to check out, our friend GS , wirites excellent care sheets and makes stunning photos so that might be something to check out. I can almost feel your excitement through your words , that is very awesome to read. In other words , I can tell you love it:) Enjoy, and thanks Eddy for making our buddy happy:) Care sheet Sexing this species Breeding report Have fun and make sure to post lots of pictures... I smell another G. Ankarana situation lol .... Take care bud, Joey | |

| Thank you Joey! And yes, I got the idea of making the bark hide from one of RobC's (tarantulaguy1976) videos. In other news.... the store I work at has a juvenile B. smithi for sale.....I just might get it this week | |
