| Deathstalker after Molt. I wanted to get a fresh picture but I forgot my camera at work over the weekend and my phone doesn’t take a good shot when they’re this small. But my lq molted on Friday this was taken Monday night. UV light shows that it’s exo was almost hardened. I was telling Mako that I think these are hebreus subspecies based on coloration what do you guys think? LQ 3 days after molt. | |

| You know I think it's technically a sub-species not a morph. | |

| Umm…literature LOL. Instead of saying I believe I should have said I know they are subspecies. I don’t know how to distinguish them though because the only sure way I know of is to know the location of where the specimen was collected. LQ is African I believe and LQH is asian. Colorations can vary in both but from what I’ve read LQH tends to be darker | |

The scorplings look totally different as well. Who knows, either way they are amazing and beautiful.
Leiurus jordanensis would be an amazing piece to a collection.

| I'm curious if anyone in the hobby has kept this species. It would be good to at least get some pictures. | |

| Patrick, check out Tityus cambridgei if you havent seen it.
I would trade my entire collection for a Leiurus jordanensis.

| Eddy I have 5 female at 4i and only 1 male we should trade a few young scorps to diversify our genetics to ensure healthy CB specimen. Or at least trade off males every other year. | |

| Keith, I have seen Tityus cambridgei. Probably my favorite from the genus. I too would trade my entire collection for one of those. But unfortunately, my only bargaining chip right now is P. imperator's. | |

If I could only collect one species of scorpion it would be Tityus cambridgei. The males are stunning.

That would be smart, unfortunately this is my only specimen atm. Also Keith, this has been confirmed to be L.qq not L.qh just a darker morph!

| Michael Misch confirmed it he has enough experience with scorpion from Afghanistan to take his word on it. Apparently a way to determine, because colors can vary, is the 5th segment. Black segment is LQQ while LQH has a grey (not as deep black) segment. | |
