| so i just caught a 20-second video of my p.trans scratching it's telson on the sides and cover of it's tub with matching chelae waving movements is this an abnormal or normal behavior? this is the first time i've seen her do this. kinda bothering but funny to watch as well lol i'll put the video up later since it's on my fone *updated* so i got the video up now: | |

| Vertibrates use scratching to remove parasites, I wonder if this is not the same?
Have you checked the scorp over for possible foreign bodies. | |

haha! she's so fat now, even thicker than my thumb in girth. she's actually stinging and eating again as i type lol i checked her whole body as soon as i got home and there's no sign of a parasite. | |

telson scratching is not observed anymore but the explanation bout the scratching is not yet clear hehe
