| I caught a couple in the Kruger Park (adjacent to Moz) this December past and all were significantly darker. Will be back home tomorrow and will check in my Scorpion book which features local species.
If it is they are protected species in South Africa due to the populations being decimated by collectors and commercial resellers.
What size is it?
Is there dimorphism in scorpions?

| In the book I have by Jonathan Leeming. The O. Glabrifrons does not seem to be found in Mozambique? The distribution is from Limpop northwards, stopping at the Kruger border with Moz and includes Swaziland.
Of all the O. subspecies this is the one that appears most east so I have to agree with your I.D.
