Found this angry dude on my hike tonight

I walked up on this little guy and he immediately went defensive. Must have been grumpy haha

Ya he was out for blood thats for sure! Nah its still kind of early for the western diamondbacks but hopefully lookin to find some soon!

I dont believe so I am not too familiar of all the snake species in my area. I wish we had horned vipers tho those things look freakin cool!

Keep a look out for Cerastes cerastes. I know they can be found in AZ but you might have to go out of your way to find some. Crotalus scutulatus is anothe beauty that can be found in your state. C. tigris is another beautiful example.

Dang ill have to see what I can find on my next hike ill have to go with another person too aint lookin to get bit and then be out there alone haha

Lol thats always a good idea. tongs.com for all your hot herping needs. I would suggest buying a pinner, large hook, and a venom extractor kit. Thats what I use when I go out for rattlers.
