| I recognise you from another forum. Welcome to scorpion forum You're collection is getting bigger and better. You've now also got an Iuridae scorpion. My favourite. There has been loads of revision with the Iurus genus recently. I. dufoureius asiaticus no longer exists. It has been reassigned to a brand new genus, Protoiurus and elevated from subspecies to species, Protoiurus asiaticus. If this scorpion is from a UK or EU dealer it is more than likely actually Protoiurus kraepelini. This is the species that Bugzuk were offering as Iuridae sp. 'Turkey' and many EU sellers are also offering Protoiurus kraepelini. This was confirmed by my far more knowledgeable friend, I was also calling mine I. d. asiaticus before I sent him some pictures I would recommend keeping one side of their enclosure slightly damp, as although this species is found in Turkey, it seeks out humid places to live. | |

i no longer post on that forum apart from the classified's, yes the collection has grown a fair bit most of my T's are going to make room for more scorpion's will just be keeping my chilean rose an the bird eater's. cheer's for the info i had not heard of these scorpion's until i bought a friend's collection. i do have a paper to read, a review of the iuridae sp from 2010 no idea where it originally came from as my friend bought someone else's collection then sold them all to me, its a very cool scorp an the first one of mine ive actually seen hunt down its food | |

Well it needs pictures of all the species in your original post. Have a look at what other members have submitted to get an idea of what we're looking for. - chrisc wrote:
